Susan’s granddaughter made a wish for her Nana to travel while she still can. Susa has gone above and beyond for their family, and still does while battling cancer. She retired to care for her brothers who were battling colon cancer and COPD.
The circumstances changed somewhat and so Stella’s Wish Foundation is providing Susan with an electric scooter.
Sara has been battling breast cancer which has spread to her brain. She recently had a grand mal seizure in front of her young children and then she had emergency surgery. She has had to discontinue a chemo trial and will start radiation on 11 tumors. She has had to take a leave from work as a kindergarten teacher and Sara’s mother submitted a wish on her behalf.
Stella’s Wish Foundation is providing a gift card for Build-A-Bear so that she can record messages to her children in a comforting way.
Sandra’s treatment has been very hard on her as the fatigue and pain are extremely bad. She has lost income as a result of her diagnosis. She wished for a small electric recliner to be more comfortable or to go to her favorite restaurant with family.
Stella’s Wish is providing a recliner from Ashley Furniture in Prescott Valley, AZ.
Stella’s Wish has granted this wish to have dinner at Magnolia’s restaurant in Texas and to meet Joanna Gaines.
Adam has stage IV parotid cancer and is running out of treatment options. He has a lovely wife, Kate, and 3 outstanding children (ages 14, 15, and 16). Money is tight and times are hard. His friend and neighbor made a wish on their behalf for an an amazing family getaway. They adore music so perhaps a concert or Broadway show.
Stella’s Wish has arranged for the family to attend a Broadway show in New York.
Michelle is a big Elvis fan. She would love to visit Memphis and Graceland, experience the sights and sounds of the famous Beale St and visit the home of her favorite musician of all time. Making memories with her family, including a 3-year-old daughter is all all she wants to do.
Stella’s Wish Foundation is granting Michelle’s wish with a trip to Graceland for their family.
Claudia has metastatic breast cancer to the bones and lymph nodes and this last year has been very difficult. She has had hip revision surgery, COVID twice, pneumonia, kidney stones and uti’s, then the hip replacement caused her femur to break. Her husband has not been able to work due to taking care of Claudia and taking her to all of her appointments and they have gone through all of their savings.
Stella’s Wish Foundation is granting a wish for Claudia by sending her gift cards that she can use for Christmas gifts for her kids and grandchildren.
Terri is the mother of (3) beautiful children, wife of a wonderful husband, loving friend, sister, aunt, and cousin. She was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma (LMS), a rare and aggressive cancer, in February of 2021. Terri stopped working in 2022 due to the hardships of trying to maintain work, treatment, and side effects. Terrie wished for a trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA as a time for the family to have fun and step away from the stresses and reminders of cancer.
Stella’s Wish Foundation has granted Terri’s wish and the family will go to Great Wolf Lodge.
In 2010, Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through chemo, radiation, and surgeries and was in remission for a year before being diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that has spread throughout her bones. She wished for a vacation to make lasting memories.
Stella’s Wish Foundation is sending Sarah and her kids on a trip to DisneyWorld.
Eric Ortega is 38 years old with three children ages 12, 10, and 4. He has been diagnosed with a liver autoimmune disease that has caused cancer in the liver as well and has now spread and turned into stage 4 cancer. Eric wishes to take my wife and children on a special trip.
Stella’s Wish is sending Eric and his family on a cruise to the Bahamas.
