Joe’s wish was to go to Texas in an RV but the plan was changed due to his health. Instead, he will be getting a cabin at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri with family and friends.
We gave Joe a wish basket and $500.00 to help with cabin rental.

25. Andrew Barton
Andrew Barton left on May 25, 2014 with his daughter, Megan, to visit Monterey Bay in California to see whales in the ocean. They were also able to visit a redwood forest.
24. Katie Ann Faith
Katie Ann Faith was sent on a trip to Tampa, Florida to visit the beach for a last time with a close friend (Debbie Machan). The ladies left on 4/21/14.
23. Charles Otto
Charles’ wish was to travel to visit his sister in Corvallis, Oregon from his home in Portland, Oregon. He also asked for a autographed jersey from Max Unger of the Seattle Seahawks.
SAFE Transportation picked Charles up and took him to spend 3 days with his sister. St. Louis sports agent Harold Lewis was able to arrange for him to receive an autographed jersey.
Stella’s Wish Foundation also sent a gift basket and a $100.00 check to help pay for oxygen during his trip.
I would like to thank you and the Stella’s Wish Foundation for helping put together a visit from my brother, Charles Otto, of Portland, OR. He had wanted to make the trip to see me and our older brother before he got to the point that he could not handle the trip. He was also thinking that this would most likely be one of the last times we three would be together.
The trip worked out flawlessly! Our brother came from Seattle, the weather was just lovely spring sunshine that popped all the trees into bloom. Charley had not been on the freeway for quite some time and he enjoyed seeing how things had changed – mostly the traffic! He was in a good place with his cancer, as he felt good and able to do the things we had planned. He was especially pleased to be able to take us all out for lunch to celebrate my birthday!
His “snack” box arrived shortly after he’d left for Portland but we took it down to the UPS store and they delivered it to him the next day. I think it weighed about 14-plus pounds of chocolate – he was happy! We encouraged him to share most of it with his care-givers, drivers and friends. You really knew what he liked!
This was a lovely thing for you and the foundation you represent to do; it was perfect all the way around and meant so much to Charley, myself and our brother. Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Patricia Dale

22. Tracy Campbell
Tracy’s wish was to spend time with her 4 kids at a wrestling event in St. Louis Missouri on October 14th. We arranged to have a limo pick them all up and take them to WWE WRESTLING EVENT, with the help of Kevin Nash. The WWE donated 5 seats to event.
21. Rick Klos
Rick was too ill to travel, so Stella’s Wish Foundation rented a hall so that his family could hold a Trivia Night to raise funds for his medical bills. Wish #21.
20. Carolyn Tyler
Carolyn Tyler’s wish was to meet Caroline Kennedy, one-on-one at her book signing in St. Louis.
Mrs. Tyler was really excited to meet Mrs. Kennedy and could not believe it was going to happen. Sadly, Carolyn was too ill to make the trip and was put on hospice one day prior
to the arranged meeting with Mrs. Kennedy. We were able, however, to get a signed book for the family.
Kathy Jinkerson sent an e-mail and asked us to grant this wish and thanked us for setting it up. A special thank you goes out to the St. Louis County Library for working with us to arrange this wish.
19. Eugene Zimmerman
Eugene wanted to visit the War Memorial in Washington DC and had planned to but he found out he was too ill to travel. Stella’s Wish flew his grandson into St. Louis and the family all had a dinner party at the Zimmerman house. The family wanted it catered from Pio’s in St.Charles, Missouri. Pio’s Restaurant provided us with a good deal on the food for 50 people and Marcone Supply picked up the tab for the food.
Mr. Zimmerman was in the Korean War and was awarded the Silver Star.
Mr. Zimmerman loved baseball; the whole family signed a baseball and gave it to him.
18. Brenda Fogarty
Brenda wanted to have a Christmas dinner with some family and buy some gifts for her 2 kids and one grandchild.
We had food catered from Honey Baked Ham store and we picked up and delivered to Brenda’s sister’s house in Puxico, Missouri.
17. Erin Birch
Erin’s wish was to meet Pro Wrestler/Actor Kevin Nash. He came to meet her at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
Erin’s sister contacted Stella’s Wish Foundation on 10/26/2012 and told us that her 2 wishes were, she wanted to meet Kevin Nash(wrestler /Actor) or swim with Dolphins but she was too ill to swim with dolphins. Erin has followed Kevin’s career and loves watching him wrestle and likes all the movies he has made.
Erin’s wish came true on December 10th, Kevin flew to St. Louis Missouri and Don Czerniewski and Shawn Rogers picked Kevin up at airport and took him to Barnes hospital so he could surprise Erin. When Erin saw Kevin, her eyes really lit up, she had a smile for the next 4 hours, Erin asked lots of questions and Kevin answered with no problem. Her two boys and her husband also asked questions about wrestling and some of the movies he made.
I was very impressed on how Kevin Nash behaved and he also said it’s all about Erin, It’s her Day and Kevin would not let Stella’s wish pay for anything. This was one of the best wishes I enjoyed planning and to see Erin’s smile when Kevin walked in the room. A special thank you should go out to Kevin Nash. – Don Czerniewski, President
