Jessie and her mother will be traveling from Washington, DC to Clearwater, FL and staying at the Sheraton Sand Key resort to have some private time.

Kay Finch is older and just wanted to relax and be comfortable with a new recliner.

Mattie Pewitt’s wish was to spend some alone time with her daughter at the Hilton Garden Inn on Waikiki Beach.

We sincerely THANK YOU for everything. On behalf of my mother, we wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving. We truly have a lot to be thankful for!

Ken Webster’s wish was to meet a Chicago Cubs player. We could not arrange a visit but the Cubs front office is sending a CUBS care package and fan appreciation letter to him. Ken was too ill to travel to the ballpark for a meet and greet on the field.

Mayra Ortiz’s wish was to go to Las Vegas with a good friend and enjoy a few good shows to get her mind off cancer treatments.

 

Laura Lynn’s wish was to go to Grove Park Inn in Ashville, NC for some alone time with a  good friend and to enjoy a nice mountain view spa.

Kristy is too ill to travel, so Stella’s Wish Foundation arranged a dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Forsyth, Illinois with 20 friends and family.

Brandon McArthur, suffering from liver cancer at just 24 years old, will take a trip to Las Vegas with his mom, dad and sister. Stella’s Wish Foundation is covering two airline tickets plus a gift card for money for dinner and shows. The family will enjoy this time together for 4 nights in August.

Anna Hall and her two daughters will spend 3 days together in Branson, MO. They will see one comedy show, one dinner cruise show and one Dixie stampede show and dinner!

Dawn Terry will spend a few days with family at Ameristar Hotel in St. Charles, MO.
She will spend time visiting and watching the kids swim and enjoy some family time over a nice dinner.

” I just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful weekend you provided my family!  We loved our room at the Ameristar!  The boys were blown away with the view of the river (and that our bathroom had a TV in it LOL)!

We started our vacation with dinner at Dairy Queen with the gift card.  We spent time in the arcade with the boys at the Ameristar.  We all went swimming in the beautiful pool and took a dip in the hot tub.  We went to Denny’s on 5th Street Friday morning and met the most wonderful server!  He was wonderful to the boys and really made a great impression on our family.  We decided to go back to Denny’s the following morning hoping he was working.  He was and we had an equally positive experience.  We took the boys shopping on Main Street in St. Charles.  Dan and I played the slots for a bit on Thursday night.  We both decided it would be fun to take the boys to Main Street.  We only lost about $6 total in a couple hours of playing.  We used the gift card you gave us and all got small gifts from different stores.  It was so much fun!

Thank you so very much for all you do!  This was a wonderful weekend vacation that we never could have afforded.  We are so blessed and grateful to you and all the donors at Stella’s Wish!  Don’t be surprised if you start hearing from more people.  We were all talking about it in the treatment room on Friday during chemo.
